Manual Handling Instructor Training Upgrade

We offer the Manual Handling Instructor Training upgrade to anyone who completes the Core First Aid Instructor Module.

This course is taught in conjunction with the First Aid Instructor course and cannot be taught independently.

Manual Handling is another course that is in very high demand throughout all industries within the UK.

If you are training your instructors for your company then this course will enable them to provide all of your manual handling courses.

For those of you who are setting up in business this additional course will provide you with more prospective custom with no additional outlay apart from your course fees.

You will find that First Aid and Manual Handling courses go hand in hand and you will often be able to add manual handling to your courses to maximise your profit without incurring any additional expense.

We offer this upgrade at the end of the five day program so in one week you can gain the core, FAW, AED and Manual Handling Instructor qualification. No other company can offer such a comprehensive trainer package.

This course can be adapted to meet the requirements of different markets and applications and the course includes a instructor manual, PowerPoint and digital resources disk.

The Manual Handling market in the UK is very large as every company has to train their staff in moving and handling regardless of which industry sector the company falls within.

Companies are more aware of the cost of back injuries caused by poor lifting and handling techniques.

In the UK, 54 million working days are lost each year because of pain, strain and injuries to the back. Nearly all jobs involve some form of manual handling which includes lifting, pulling, pushing and carrying a range of objects. Use of poor techniques to move materials is the most common cause of injury at work.

Injuries to the back, shoulders, neck, hands, arms and feet mostly result from moving heavy or awkward loads, restricted space, carrying loads up and down stairs and awkward movements such as reaching, stooping and twisting.
