Train the Trainer First Aid - PTLLS Combined First Aid at Work Instructor/Assessor
This course is ideal for those who wish to teach and assess HSE Approved First Aid at Work Courses, this course combines our First Aid Trainer programme which results in the First Aid at Work Instructor rating with the PTLLS Level 3 course which allows learners to commence their professional development within the teaching profession.
This course satisfies the government requirement for teachers, trainers and tutors who need an initial award for their role as a teacher or trainer in the lifelong learning sector or those who want to teach in a Further Education College, Adult Learning Environment or be a trainer for a Learning Provider.
The 5 day combined classroom course is delivered over 5 days, combining a variety of theories and principles with practical sessions throughout the its delivery.
The course includes AED Instructor & Paediatric Instructor, to increase the number of courses you will be able to teach.
Please note that this course involves a considerable amount (approximately 30 hours) of independent guided study, please ensure that you have the time to complete this when you book your course.
Course Aim :- This award is for those who are or want to be a teacher, tutor or trainer and need to be able to plan, prepare and provide learning for their specialist area.

Entry Requirements
All candidates will need to hold and provide us with proof of their: -
Current HSE Approved First Aid at Work Certificate and or:-
Proof of current registration for:-
Registered Nurse (NMC)
Paramedic (HPC)
Doctor - UK Registration (GMC)
All entrants need to have the personal and intellectual abilities to acquire the knowledge and understand the skills needed to gain this award.
All entrants must be able to read effectively and communicate clearly and accurately in written and spoken standard English .
Don't have a current first aid at work certificate or exemption?
We can offer First Aid at Work Provider with First Aid at Work instructor and PTLLS, we offer PTLLS distance courses where you can complete your assignments with our tutor support and video help, then you arrange to attend our full First Aid at Work Instructor Programme for 5 days, where you do your mandatory micro-teach presentation and complete your first aid at work certificate and first aid at work instructor / assessor course.
