First Aid Instructor, Train the Trainer / Assessor First Aid Course
Our First Aid at Work Instructor training course enables the successful candidate to train and assess Health and Safety (HSE) approved first aid courses.
This course is ideal for candidates who already hold a Level 3 or higher training award and those who want a course that is focused on building confidence, updating knowledge and learning how to deliver fun and informative first aid courses.
If you are planning to become a first aid trainer and deliver courses which attract funding or are going to offer training to adult learning environments, and do not already hold a professional teaching qualification such as PTLLS, we recommend the PTLLS/Combined First Aid at Work instructor course.
Our five day course incudes the First Aid at Work course, this is highly recommended for everyone who wants to teach first aid at work, if you have a current first aid at work certificate and lengthy first aid experience or you are a currently registered nurse, paramedic or doctor with proven first aid at work experience, you can choose to attend for the last 3 days.
The price for the 3 day or 5 day course is the same, this is due to the limited number of places available on each course and because we encourage all candidates to benefit from refreshing their skills regardless of current qualfications.
Paediatric first aid and AED (Defibrillator) training is incuded in our course free of charge, this increases the number of courses you can teach and
improves your general first aid knowledge.
Courses are available at our training centre in Colchester, where we hold a minimum of 1 course per month, or if you have a large number of employees who need to be trained, we can come and deliver the training onsite at your premises.
