CTLLS Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector
ITG Instructor Training offer the CTLLS Level 3 Train the Trainer Course at our Training Centre in Colchester Essex.
What are the qualifications about?
This qualification satisfies the government requirement for teachers, tutors and trainers in an Associate Teacher role to hold a level 3 Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector.
The Associate Teacher role is defined as carrying fewer teaching responsibilities than the full role. However, the quality of teaching is expected to be of an equally high standard.
Someone is deemed to be in the Associate Teacher role if they teach predominantly in at least one of the following ways: from packs/pre-prepared materials, on a one to one basis, on a programme confined to a particular level/subject/type of learner, on short courses.
The achievement of this certificate will confirm that learners have shown that in addition to completing the requirements for the Preparing to Teach Award, they are able to plan and enable learning, understand the principles of and implement good practice in assessment and have also completed an optional unit(s) appropriate to their role.
